Comtec Group International Ltd, the UK’s leading supplier of telecoms, datacoms and AV products, are delighted to rank 94th in the Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200 which ranks Britain’s mid-market private companies with the fastest-growing international sales, measured over two years of accounts.
Comtec, which celebrates its 40th anniversary this year, is one of just nine companies in the East of England to win a place on the league table of Britain’s fastest growing international sales stars, having grown their international sales by an average of 51% a year over the last two years to £9.2 million in 2017.
As well as a Hong Kong operation, Comtec are well-established in the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) region with subsidiaries in Qatar and UAE for almost 10 years supplying telephone companies such as Etisalat, Ooredoo (formerly known as Qtel) and Batelco.
John Archer, Chief Executive Chairman “We are delighted to rank in the 2018 International Track 200 and have our international sales achievements recognised in this way. We aim to build on this success with the recent opening of our new operation in Oman, directly brought about to support Ooredoo’s roll-out of a superfast fibre network”.
Comtec have been a close partner of Oorderoo for nearly 3 decades and over the last 5 years have been their exclusive supply chain management services provider on their FTTH rollout – the fastest such rollout in the world.
The full league table was published as an eight-page supplement with the business section of The Sunday Times on 10 June, both in print and in the digital edition, and on www.fasttrack.co.uk
